Not the Ennesimo festivalfilosofia

Ennesimo Film Festival renews its partnership with festivalfilosofia,
now in its ninth year!
Join us on Friday, September 19, at 9:00 PM at the Auditorium Bertoli in Sassuolo for Non è l'Ennesimo festivalfilosofia.
A special selection of short films presented by Ennesimo Film Festival will offer a unique cinematic interpretation of this year's theme: CHAOS.

The unexpected redefines the boundaries of reality, compelling human beings to redraw their inner geography. Auteurs of short cinema have long executed this generative movement: introducing unsettling elements, disrupting everyday linearity, shattering the viewer's certainties, and leaving them transformed—enriched by a new emotional disarray. Where order leans toward stasis, cinematic narrative unlocks its vital force precisely within chaos.
This selection offers a journey through six international short films, bound by the intrusion of the unpredictable into human experience. From the sudden arrival of the unusual in daily routine to the joyous disarray of carnival, from political tensions to chance encounters that reshape life trajectories, the featured films open visionary portals into lives on the edge—demonstrating how cinema acts as a thread weaving through the world’s disorder to help us decipher it.
DURING THE EVENING, THE ENNESIMO festivalfilosofia 2026 AWARD AND THE AUDIENCE MENTION WILL BE PRESENTED.
