Nabil Kechouhen grew up in Chalon-sur-Saône, finding an escape in basketball until a serious injury ended his career. During rehab, he met director Maïwenn, who cast him in Mon Roi. This spark led him to cinema, where he now unites his two passions: basketball and filmmaking.
Cresciuto a Chalon-sur-Saône, Nabil trova nel basket una via di fuga, finché un grave infortunio non interrompe la sua carriera. Durante la riabilitazione ha incontrato la regista Maïwenn, che lo ha scelto per il film Mon Roi. Quella scintilla lo ha avvicinato al cinema, dove oggi unisce le sue due grandi passioni: il basket e la regia.
