The village prepares to celebrate the arrival of the New Year, but for Carlo it will be an evening like any other. At thirty-six, a bachelor and without a job, he still lives with his widowed mother. An unexpected invitation seems to offer him the chance for a new start.
He works as a director and assistant director on short films, commercials and backstage shoots. He has also worked in journalism for various international broadcasters, and has taught cinema.
