Christian Paparini at Ennesimo Film Festival 2026

The influencer with 1.7 million followers to lead the collaboration between Ennesimo and Comix: meeting with local students on April 27

A long-standing synergy that puts youth at the center. For its eleventh edition—taking place from April 26 to May 3, as Fiorano Modenese becomes the short film capital—Ennesimo Film Festival welcomes back the Comix Academy. The project is the result of a collaboration between the festival and Comix, the most irreverent brand of the Franco Cosimo Panini publishing house.

This year, the Academy explores a territory where cinema and new media increasingly compete: how a story is born in the era of the infinite scroll, and what it takes for it to stick. The protagonist of this edition is Christian Paparini, a content creator from Legnano who, since 2020, has built a community of over 1.7 million followers by transforming the small paradoxes of daily life into quick, relatable comedic sketches. A high school graduate currently studying acting, Paparini arrives at Ennesimo for a dialogue with students designed to spark a shared reflection on what it means to tell stories today: where the platform ends and cinema begins, and whether an idea born for a smartphone can become a story capable of outlasting the logic of “disposable” content. Paparini will lead the talk on the morning of Monday the 27th at the Teatro Astoria in Fiorano Modenese.

Ennesimo Film Festival returns from April 26 to May 3 in Fiorano Modenese, with the Teatro Astoria as its home base for an edition that confirms the event’s dual mission: bringing cinema closer to the people and celebrating the short film as a true art form. Among the guests this year are Greta Scarano, Benedetta Porcaroli, and Carolina Cavalli, as well as Palestinian director Aesha Balaha, the protagonist of the Artist Residency, who will introduce The Voice of Hind Rajab on April 29.

«How do you teach storytelling to a generation that consumes stories vertically, on their phones, in thirty seconds? This is the question we asked ourselves this year together with Comix,» says Federica Ferro, President of Tilt, the youth association that organizes Ennesimo Film Festival. «We will try to find an answer with Christian Paparini, a youth icon who understood something that cinema has always known: a story works when the viewer recognizes themselves in it. Bringing him to speak with students means bridging two languages that may seem distant but are, in truth, very close.»
