The Ennesimo Film Festival initiative dedicated to young people
From 27 April to 4 May, the Ennesimo Film Festival returns to Fiorano Modenese, and with the short film festival, attention is also focused on younger audiences: this edition will see the return of the Third jury, a project that offers a group of students aged between 13 and 18 the opportunity to express their opinion on the final award for the best short film in the Official Selection, sitting at the Official Jury table alongside two industry experts who will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Applications to be part of the Third Jury are now open, and you can register using the form on the Ennesimo Academy website. Ennesimo Film Festival thus reaffirms its commitment to actively involving young people who are interested in the world of cinema, encouraging them to put themselves to the test and engage with professionals and
enthusiasts in the industry. Through a dedicated and free training course, specially designed by the Academy’s trainers, those selected for the Third Jury will acquire skills in critical film analysis, preparing themselves to cast their vote for the most prestigious award of the 2025 festival.
«With the Third Juror – emphasises Federica Ferro, president of Tilt – the association that organises the film festival, Ennesimo not only promotes the passions of young people, but also creates a bridge between the new generations and the world of cinema, valuing the opinions and critical judgement of young people. In this sense, the training programme we offer includes in-depth studies on the history of cinema and audiovisual languages, film criticism and film analysis workshops, and meetings with directors, screenwriters and professionals in the sector. Thanks to this training, the jurors will be able to develop a critical and informed eye, playing an active role in the selection and awarding of the best short films in competition.».
