Every year, the exhibitions curated by the Ennesimo Academy become a meeting point for students and the community—an opportunity to publicly share the results of a journey rooted in study and experimentation. The works on display are not mere educational exercises, but independent interpretations of the lessons learned in class, reflecting the students’ gaze on the world and their unique way of transforming it into images and stories. Through storyboards, sketches, screenplays, and working materials developed during the school year, these exhibitions lead the audience into the creative process that precedes the birth of a film.
The Academy’s goal is to give value to this journey, offering young people a free and authentic space to express themselves without filters. The exhibitions will not only be held in Fiorano Modenese, but will be hosted across various locations: Prignano sulla Secchia, Castelvetro, Finale Emilia, Modena, Scandiano, and Savignano in Emilia-Romagna; Castelfidardo in the Marche region; and Modugno in Puglia. This choice stems from the desire to involve both the school and local communities, as well as diverse audiences near and far. It allows them to connect with the students’ visions and discover how cinema can open new perspectives and inspire unexpected ideas.
