Here is the program for the first day of the Ennesimo Film Festival

Tomorrow, Sunday, April 28th, marks the first day of the Fiorano festival, which returns bigger than ever until May 5th

Over 50 events in six municipalities with the beating heart at the Astoria Theater in Fiorano Modenese, 197 short films in competition, and thousands of expected participants. And furthermore: the unprecedented national partnership with the Italian Space Agency, over 20,000 postcards for the assignment of the Fiorano City Prize delivered to families in the Ceramic District, and an Academy that, in its eighth year, has reached 12,000 students involved. Ennesimo Film Festival is ready to return for its ninth edition, bigger than ever. The festival will last eight days, from Sunday, April 28th to Sunday, May 5th, and will be open to the public free of charge.

Today, in Maranello, street artist Hype Seba created a mural with students from the Ferrari Comprehensive Institute. Four hours later, at the Astoria Theater in Fiorano Modenese, it was the turn of class 1B from the Leopardi middle school, the winning class of the Incipit project, which, together with director Nils Vanderwaeren, filmed the debut of their short film ‘Grinta’, winner last year in the Out of Focus category.

Tomorrow, Sunday, April 28th, the cargo hold of a ship docks on the stage of the Astoria Theater, the magic of theater, where anything is possible. A small installation and stage props become narrative devices to evoke great stories. All borrowed from Melville, for a few minutes. As if you were in the hold of a whaling ship. A sort of sea voyage curated by Roberto Abbiati, freely reinterpreting Herman Melville’s ‘Moby Dick’, offering a more unique than rare experience. Teatro de Gli Incamminati curates the production. There are four performances (at 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 9 p.m.) with mandatory reservation on Eventbrite
