Kiarash Dadgar è un artista premiato iraniano nel cinema e nel teatro, con un Master in Letteratura Drammatica alla Soore Art University. Ha lavorato in vari cortometraggi iraniani, serie e produzioni teatrali. Il primo lavoro di Kiarash come produttore, Jouissance, ha avuto la sua prima mondiale al 27° Busan International Film Festival.
Il suo film d’esordio, The Steak (2023), è stato proiettato in oltre 240 festival cinematografici, tra cui Slamdance, Tirana, RiverRun, Short Shorts e il Norwegian Short Film Festival, vincendo oltre 100 premi a livello globale, tra cui l‘AGBO Award di Slamdance, il Best Producer Award al 18° Canadian Film Fest, il Best Film Award al 47° Elche IFF, il Sesc-TV Award e il Premio del Pubblico al 35° São Paulo ISFF, e il Gold Screen Award al Cannes Young Director Award. Attualmente sta studiando per un MFA in Film alla York University di Toronto e sta sviluppando il suo primo lungometraggio, Graveyard, con i Russo Brothers presso lo studio AGBO a Los Angeles, Hollywood.
Kiarash Dadgar is an award-winning Iranian film and theatre artist with an MA in Dramatic Literature from Soore Art University. He worked in various Iranian short films, series, and theatre productions. Kiarash first work as a producer, “Jouissance,” premiered at the 27th BUSAN International Film Festival.
His debut film, “The Steak” (2023), has been screened in +240 Film Festivals, such as Slamdance, Tirana, RiverRun, Short Shorts and Norwegian Short Film Festival and won +100 titles globally, including the AGBO Award from Slamdance, the Best Producer Award from the 18th Canadian Film Fest, the Best Film Award from the 47th Elche IFF, the Sesc-TV Award and Audience Award from the 35th São Paulo ISFF, and the Gold Screen Award from the Cannes Young Director Award. He is currently studying for an MFA in Film at York University, Toronto, and developing his  first feature film, “Graveyard,” with the Russo Brothers at AGBO studio in LA, Hollywood.
