According to his best friend Coco, Dalou shouldn’t worry about not having a father. But when the school’s parent-child sports day approaches, the question remains: who will team up with him? Together, the two friends set off on an uneasy quest for a “replacement father”.

Drawing from his Dutch-Cameroonian heritage, his work tackles serious themes through a vibrant and positive lens, often featuring young casts. His graduation film, This is Your Captain Speaking, won the Dutch Film Fund Wildcard 2022, while his debut short Moustache earned a Golden Calf nomination.
